Using an epilator really hurt but the one that I brought came with extra things like a brush and different head also I would reccomend using a moisturiser after I would say stick with shaving because it hurts but it is the best way to remove hairs from th roots

They do hurt but my moms been using one on her legs and underarms since ever I can remember and since the past few years she didnt even have to use it anymore!! no more hair grow in the areas where she used it throughout the years. its like tweezing your eyebrows, first it hurts but then you deff just get use to the pain.

I would say the pain is a 10 the first times lol. I bought mine yeeears ago and never got around to using it because it hurt so much the times I tried it. Years passed and I began tweezing my legs when I got bored lol, then I remembered I had an epilator and when I tried it, it didn't hurt as much as before probably cuz now I was used to it. It leaves my legs soft which I love BUT it causes so much ingrown hairs like omg -.- Also it is kinda hard to get every hair and you might also miss some spots cuz it's kinda hard to keep track of which you've done already.

It depends where you use it as some parts are more sensitive than others in some places it's a 7 and others a 4 but after using it a few times you get use to the pain

I agree with Charlotte, the pain level depends on where you're removing the hair. It works best on 1cm short hairs that are thick. My leg hair is very fine and the epilator I have tends to break them off instead of removing them from the root. And the ones that are removed from the root become softer- so it's great for coarse hair - but it can cause ingrown hairs if it's fine because the hair itself will not be strong enough to break through the skin when it grows back so it will curl down instead.

My pain level is pretty high and I'd say it hurts the first couple times you use it, sort of like your plucking your eyebrows but with your leg hairs lol, but after a while you get used to it. I do find that I get ingrown hairs when I use mine but exfoliating should help that :) I would say its worth the money because most of them last a while, but I hardly ever use mine just because of how long it takes! Its honestly kinda crazy because it takes like 2-3 hours to do my 2 legs :/ I'd say thats definitely an annoying thing about them. Pros are that your hair does stay away for long, and also I like the fact that you can use this anywhere, unlike hair removal cream etc, so you can use it on your armpits, "private area" etc. lol

I have an epilator and the first time is a bit sore and you get used to it so it's stops hurting after a few uses, I can go weeks without having to redo my legs and the hair grows back very fine, I don't get any ingrown hairs and it takes me about 45 mins to do both my legs :)

It is the worst pain I've ever experienced from hair removal lol but I have heard that it's worth it long term. I just couldn't handle the pain.

It hurts a lot. Like when I epilate, it's only the lower half of my legs because it hurts a lot higher up. I thought at first I could handle the pain, but it's definitely something you need to just decide you need to do it, and fight through it lol
