I'm just starting to freelance, what do you guys think is the best way to have a variety of foundation (colors) without having to buy every shade?

You will want to buy one of the darkest tones one middle tone then one of the lightest tones. then pick one from in between the middle and the lightest and one in between the darkest and the middle.
