So I've been reading up on natural ways to moisturize and I came across grape seed and hemp seed oil. My skin is oily, acne prone, but also dry. It's very confusing. Does anyone have any experience with these products? Thank you!

Almond oil is a great natural moisturizer and it's especially good for around the delicate eye area.

I love grape seed oil!! It makes for a great "eye cream" but once you start using it you have to be quick because the stuff spoils within 6 months. I always end of having to toss it after I hit the half-way point with it. Currently I'm trying out Sweet Almond Oil and I usually apply that to my lips after I exfoliate them and then apply a lip balm to seal it all in. I have yet to try it on my face as a moisturizer though.

I've used grapeseed oil on my body and it's so moisturizing but feels light. Shelley is right that it spoils fast. I've read that hemp seed oil is really great for acne prone skin. It has a comedogenic rating of 0 which means it won't clog pores. I've been meaning to try it myself.

Hemp Seed oil is amazing, I know everyone associates it with the drug and thinks how can you put that on your face?! lol. Hemp seed oil does not contain THC. The oil is very beneficial to the skin and has a lot of omega fatty acids. With long term use it can heal extremely dry skin and can help relieve eczema and dermatitis. It can also help with acne and it does not clog pores.

Grape seed oil is also great in treating acne, dark circles, and moisturizing the skin.

Both of these are great if you want to make your own body butter to make it super moisturizing.
