My nose is always shiny no matter what I try. I can't buy oil blotting strips where I live and I've tried using translucent powder.

I really like Rimmels Stay Matte powder (:
It runs for about $3 I believe. I wore it today after my foundation and it helped (:
Don't apply too much

Use a matte primer, foundation, and powder
Use a setting spray
Use tissue to blot
etc.
If you have oily skin there is only so much you can do to keep oil away but it will always peek through unfortunately

I use stay matte powder, I have an extremely shiny nose too and I keep stay matte with me everywhere I go. I also wear it over my bb cream and/or foundation.

Thanks :) I was going to get the rimmel matte powder but decided on the translucent powder instead so I'll make sure to buy it when's it's next on sale. Can you use it without foundation underneath? I normally just wear my translucent powder over moisturiser or bb for the days that I work.

Yes, it works perfectly either way. I love it.

Great matte powder is Becca ever-matte Poreless primer! Then after you're done with your makeup use Urban Decay De-Slick to set everything!

Stay matte powder is amazing for oily skin! My nose gets oily too and I love it! Also it has good enough coverage where I don't need to have anything underneath, definitely worth it!

That sucks that it breaks you out Erin! It doesn't break me out at all.

Oh, I'm a dummy. I haven't had any break yet, hopefully I don't! I've only gone through about 2 or 3 though. They last a loooong time too, Amy! Which is a plus.

What should I use to apply it? I've never used a solid powder before.
