Naked has a Bronzer, blush and highlighter palette. I was just wondering how they are applied together. Bronzer-contour, highlighter, and then blush over top of those? I'm new to face makeup, I normally stick with eyes and lips.

I use blush right on the cheeks, highlight just above that on the cheekbones and up on my temples and a tiny bit down the center on my face. The Bronzer goes right below your cheeks in the hollows, and around the edges of your face and even a bit on the sides of your nose. It's really variable though, depending on your face shape! Do what looks best on you 😊

Hmm, well it's important to know that bronzer and contour products are not the same thing. Bronzers are designed to bronze the skin and give it a glow like you've been suntanning. Contouring is the art of reshaping your face by creating shadows.

ordinarily what I do when I wear a full face is to apply blush first, blend that out, apply highlighter to the tops of my cheekbones and cupid's bow, and then, if I'm really going for a bronzey summery look I'll apply bronzer to the center of my forehead, my chin, my nose. But, of course, not a lot, I normally find the look of bronzer on myself weird.

Which palette are you looking at?

Hmmmm, the bronzer seems like a bronzer in the palette, not a contour color because it's a bit orangey and warm so I would use it on the high planes of your face where the sun normally hits. But that's just my opinion on the shade. A lot of people use bronzer to contour but it doesn't really do what contouring is supposed to do imo.

Okay yea that makes sense actually. I looked into bronzers and how it's supposed to touch where the sun hits like the places you ladies had mentioned. But a video I seen did that but also used it for contouring. It feels safer to avoid using it for that purpose. I'm trying to avoid the over tanned look and the look-at-my-five-o'clock-shadow appearance so it's helpful to know what to put where 😊

I like how it looks when used to soften the contour shade and blend it into your blush. I do get that it's only logical to apply on the high planes of the face but I don't know why I think it looks weird when people do that.

Kattya, you have to use a very very light hand otherwise it does look really weird. It just gives you a healthy glow, as long as it's not super dark compared to your natural skin tone. I personally like it blended into blush as well
