I want to wax my bikini zone. Everything. Recently I bought a laser machine to stop my hair growing, but I haven't used it yet. I don't even know if it's possible to use it there. So I've thought in waxing myself with those veet straps (I don't know the name) but I'm SCARED! I don't want to feel pain and if you know any other way of waxing down there, please help me!

Just shave, you'll have to do it more often, but it doesn't hurt.

Well it hurts thats for sure, once you're used to it , youll be ok. Take some Tylenol or advil before also. The results are soo much better in my opinion so its worth the pain lol. But as kenna said the only painless method is shaving.

I gotten a bikini wax and it's not the most fun thing to do. But I agree with Advil or Tylenol. Plus, if you do your own waxing be careful too.

I wouldn't do the waxing yourself. I would go get it done if your going to wax, and I agree with Kenna

Please be super careful if you're doing it yourself. Make sure the wax isnt too hot and that you pull the strip super close to the skin.

The only way to wax is to wax. I've never done it, but if you decided to shave instead, trim the hair down with a pair of scissors so the razor doesn't pull on full length hair. Use a new blade, never use a dull blade when shaving your bikini area. Don't shave against the grain of your hair, only shave with it to avoid irritation, bleeding and ingrown hairs. Exfoliate to ensure you don't get ingrown hairs. And afterwards, use a gentle, non scented lotion to get rid of itching (it itches the first few times but eventually goes away). If you definitely want to wax, I wouldn't do it by yourself, I just think it's far too easy to mess up. The best option is to get it done professionally or have a friend with experience with waxing do it for you. I hope this helped :)

I just got waxed for the first time (for all over body besides bikini zone and those kind of areas) and the woman there told me not to shave down there because of the irritation it causes and some other reasons I can't remember. Both her and my mother told me this, so I would just skip shaving down there... I believe it would be a lot easier just to get it waxed professionally, I heard there is pain like with any waxing but you'll get used to it.

I recommend to go to a professional for the first time but first do some research if they use hard wax and they don't double dip. OTC pain killers will help. If you can bear with the pain then you could get your own wax kit and do it yourself. The more often you get waxed the more you are going to get use to it.
