not sure why but I've suddenly developed really sensitive eyes. biggest problem seems to be eyeshadow, I end up bright red eye and streaming. I dunno what seems to be causing it its stuff I've used before and my brushes are clean. I did go a few month of not wearing make up beyond tinted moisturiser and blush have started new medication in that time so I dunno if that maybe has triggered something. does anyone know any shadows formulated for sensitive eyes? thanks

One of the most common sources eye irritation is Talc. A lot of companies will tell you that their products are hypoallergenic because they are a mineral eyeshadow. This is wrong! Talc is a mineral, and due to talc's high level of allergic reaction, it is not considered to be a very hypo-allergenic material.
I dont know but have you recently been close any animals that you're allegic to? You may of accidentally put your hands near your eyes after touching the animal which could be iratation?
1. Always buy your makeup at a place that will accept returns.
2. Have your makeup applied by a professional at the store if one is available to you.
3. If your eyeshadow doesn't go on smoothly or flakes off into your eye, chuck it.
4. Don't be afraid to return a product that doesn't suit you. Don't let the makeup companies get away with supplying unhealthy makeup. If an eyeshadow irritates your sensitive eyes, make sure you write down the offending ingredient or the whole ingredient list if you don't know, then return it
I have sesitive eyes when it comes to Maybelline eye shadows, so i stay away.
