I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about this palette. As far as the quality, it's definitely there. The shades are pigmented, little to no fallout, and blend very well. The highlight shades are nice, but I'm iffy on the contour shades. I have porcelain skin, so it could just be that, but the contour shades seem to just pull warm on me. Even "Sombre", which is extremely disappointing, because it looks cool toned and was supposed to be a true taupe color. However, I think they can still be pulled off...you just really, really have to blend. I don't know, maybe I just have to play with it some more, but--I really hate to say this--I think it's SLIGHTLY overhyped. I love practically everything KVD touches, but the shade choices are questionable for a contour palette, in my opinion. I actually use the Real Techniques contour brush for the highlight shades, didn't like it at all for the contour. Instead, I'm been using the Real Techniques sculpting brush, which I really like surprisingly. All in all, I'd say it's worth a shot. If you don't like it, you can always return it. I don't regret purchasing it, I just need to work with it some more.
