Nostril Piercing w/ an Oily, Asian-like Nose.

I've been seriously debating getting a nostril piercing (obvious considering the description lol).
I'm half Hispanic and half Asian but I have the typical Asian nose with rounder nostrils and also very oily skin on my nose. Maybe five or six years ago, I would get a HUGE pimple on the top of my nose which was said (by my dermatologist) to be a combination of three pimple "heads" which is why it was so big and swollen all the time but I got some sort of treatment that "permanently" got rid of the pimple and I haven't gotten it since. I still have a lot of blackheads over the lower parts of my nose where it's most oily. Also I would like for a size gauge that doesn't leave any noticeable scarring but bigger jewelry could help make my nostril look smaller. ahhhhh please help!1

How do I know how my skin will react to the piercing (assuming I get a real gold/silver piercing)? What if I get a pimple in the area close to my piercing? And what size gauge do any of you guys recommend to best suit a typical Asian nose shape?(:

Whether or not your skin will react to the jewellery depends on whether you're allergic to nickel, etc. If you get it pierced with a silver or gold stud you shouldn't have any issues though as far as jewellery irritation goes. If you get a pimple in the area, leave it to go away on it's own if that's possible. The standard gauge for nose piercings is 16g if I'm correct. (Mine is pierced at 16)
