I'm finally getting my hair done tomorrow! You may have seen my previous posts about getting a blue ombre and it's finally happening!
I currently have 3-4 day hair and it's starting to look greasy. I'm only getting my hair done from the middle to the ends, no dying or anything happening at the top, so should I wash my hair since nothing's happening to the top or should I just leave it?
I hope that made sense!

It will be washed anyways at the saloon after the dying process, so it really depends on your preferences how often you like to wash your hair. I would personally try to get away another day with dry shampoo lol :)

Since you're not getting anything near the roots done, you should be fine not washing it before you go.

I guess I didn't word my question correctly, I'm trying to ask if it's okay for me to wash my hair. I don't want it to be greasy so could I wash it?

I always heard that dirty or oily hair is better when dying it.

Yeah of course you can wash it ^^ it doesn't affect your results in any way.

But as I said it depends on your preference :)

If you have a lot of product in it, I'd wash it. I find the color takes better in product free hair.

The idea of having dirty hair is to protect your scalp. You also don't want it so dirty that it creates a barrier between the color and your hair. I say wash today!

Catherine, this thread was from 3 days ago and, as I said, I washed it but thank you.
