I saw a video on how to clean makeup brushes and it said one way I could do it was to use olive oil but I can't remember how it's done? do any of you know??

I used to mix it with Dawn Dish detergent, but I didn't notice a difference, so now I just use Dawn (I have no idea if this is okay for your brushes, but it does get them clean easily, but I only have elf or really cheap brushes)

I think people use olive oil because it's suppose to act as a conditioner for the brush bristols. I use to use it and stopped because I felt that regular dish washing soap worked fine all by itself.

I wash mine with dish soap or a face cleanser. The olive oil never worked out for me...
