That's for the clarification Alyx, I also thought this was about the pharmaceutical. My jaw hit the floor when I read that! I was thinking "oh my god this goes so far beyond the castor oil and biotin nonsense..." but I'm glad to hear that it is NOT someone telling us to go do drugs for thick hair LOL.

Carry on, Beautylish. ;)

Nioxin as in the shampoo, conditioner n root spray... no drugs. They sell it at a bunch of salons..

Just to be clear: this is a haircare product range. Not the drug with the same name. Nioxin is also prescribed for toxin loss in people who are on bedrest, and it can have pretty heavy side effects. It's also a street drug for people who are on steroids, and again has terrible side effects.
Just being clear because the drug nioxin is available over the counter and if I hadn't heard of the hair line before that's what I'd assume you're talking about.

I love nioxin! I recommend it all the time! It's more for thinning hair than thin hair, but it's really amazing. Saved me from going bald last year lol.

My oldest sister is a hairdresser, I am going to school to be one too! (Paul Mitchell)
I'm working 3 jobs and stressed out beyond belief. My hair started to thin out so I asked my sister what todo... the only thing FDA approved to thicken your hair is nioxin. For people with a beauty license it's about $25. I have naturally curly hair so I don't wash my hair every day. I've been using this system for about 3 weeks and I see a lot of improvements. (: So if you're really looking to thicken your hair this reaally is a great product.
