Need your opinion on ABH artist palette.

Alright beauties, I have a quick question on something. Yesterday my hubs took the fam to the mall and told me get anything you want. I was like OK. knowing that I secretly online shopped, I kept it minimal and bought the ABH brush in 12 and urban decay moondust in solstice that cost like 20 bucks. My question is, I feel a little silly buying a 20 dollar eyeshadow for just ONE color and am thinking of returning it and getting the ABH artist palette. Although I have heard mixed reviews about this how it's patchy, subpar quality, blah blah blah. Do any of you own this? Or the UD moondust shadows? Would you keep the UD or exchange it for the artist for more color options? The artist palette is 30 dollars. Thank you in advance for your thoughts and time!

I don't have it, but I just ordered it yesterday so I'd be happy to give a review when it arrives! I've seen mostly good reviews on it, and I love that it's designed to work with the million neutral palettes we all already own haha. I think the negative reviews were people expecting a bit too much from it. For only $30, I think what you get looks pretty fantastic!

It isn't pigmented at all!
the colors are gorgeous but the pigmentation is horrible.
if you want crazy colors I would get the urban decay electric palette.
It's so pigmented.

I know that is what I thought too. 30 dollars for a palette is pretty good. That's why I was thinking of exchanging that solstice for the artist palette. But that solstice is so pretty :( Lol decisions!

I love my Solstice eyeshadow. I say keep it!! Have you seen any of the new Moondust shadows?? I forgot when they are supposed to be released but they look AMAZING.

Thank you so much! I actually stopped by Ulta before my dr appt. and swatched the shadows. I loved pretty much almost the shimmer shadow but all the matte excluding the dusty rose was just so horrible. I don't think the shimmer shadows are enough for me to purchase them as I already own some of them in different palettes. Such a shame :/ I ended up just keeping the solstice and buying nyx prismatic shadows on the colors that I did want lol. Like jaded, fireball, liquid gold, and golden peach. Thank you ladies for your input, always helpful.

Jacqueline haha! You are hilarious! I already ordered so many things online yesterday. 2 liquid lipsticks, shadow singles, a foundation, and some brushes. lol! I think if I super hauled sephora it would be overkill haha.

Yes I know anastasia's brow products are amazing and it will always be my number one pick but I just could not get myself to buy the palette. The texture is off and not constant, too bad! I will definitely keep the UD moondust. I guess it's expensive for a reason lol!

I agree with Jacqueline. I swatched the palette hoping for good pigmentation and it honestly felt like bad quality drugstore eyeshadows. Like I've had 1$ shadows that felt nicer. But I'm not a huge fan of ABH really. The brow products are good, but not greater than others imo, but I agree with Jacqueline that she should have stuck with brow products.
