Anyone know of any powders that are very good coverage at sephora that won't enhance my flaky skin? Around 30 dollars. Loved bare minerals coverage but it dries out my skin and clings to my patches :(

If you have dry skin a powder foundation probably isn't your best bet :/ Would you consider a liquid?

Well I use tarte Amazonian clay but I have to moisturize so much before it makes it too dewy and the coverage isn't to my liking :/

Do you have any suggestions Sandra? I want something that won't make my skin too dewy because my lotion already does!

Abby how long do you wait between moisturizer and foundation? If I were you I would look into other liquid foundations so your skin doesn't become more dry! What kind of finish and coverage are you looking for?

I'm looking for full coverage and I usually wait 3-5 minutes! I don't have a preference on the Finish. I just have very uneven skin tone so I definitely need the full coverage. Just not too dewy. I'm not too picky :)

You should try and wait 20-30 minutes to really let your skin absorb the moisturizer!
The most full coverage foundation I know is Estee lauder double wear and so many girls on here loooooove it! I havent tried it myself since I'm sheer coversge kind of girl!

I have dry skin and I personally love powder foundation. I don't really like Bare Mineral's though... It emphasized dryness, so I recommend Merle Normans Mineral Foundation (only con is you can't buy online so you have to go to a Merle Norman store; google it to see if you have one close by). If you don't then, Tarte's powder is great too or Philosophy makes a great one too (I think you can only get at Ulta or order online). I highly recommend trying CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser (helped me so much with dryness) and CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion or Cream (the cream is what I use because my skin is so dry). If you want to try a liquid foundation then I personally love Makeup Forever HD, Clinique Super Moisture, Clinique Even Better, or Laura Mercier Silk Creme (I haven't tried that one but it has great reviews for dryness). As far as primers go high end and drugstore, my absoulute favorite that I have tried and have been using for two years now is L'Oreal Magic Lumi (skinny white bottle).

If you want super full coverage, try kat Von d mixed with some bb cream. You'll have to moisturizer before, but it's what I did when I had heavy unevenness and what I still do when I get blotchy from allergies. The kvd stuff is SUPER full coverage, but it can be drying and cling to dry patches, so I find primer (I personally use the Laura mercier one) and then mixing a few drops of a moisturizing bb cream with it works wonders. I just use a cheap one from Walmart
