Every time I use brown eyeshadow, no matter how much I use or what brand, it always comes out as a kind of a ruddy red color. I tried using primer, but that didn't help either. Do y'all know what's causing this?

Hmm that is interesting! Maybe try using a good transition color to blend into the brown more?

Maybe your brush isn't clean and it has powder on it.. try cleaning it.

I feel like its maybe just a bad formulation... Like the shadow isnt pigmented enough and it just picks up the red notes. I maybe wrong, probably actually lol. But I just feel like it happens sometimes. If this is happening with many different shadows from different brands, then its maybe the brush.
