Hi ladies, I was first using the john freida red shampoo and it gave me sooo much dandruff so I switched to quantum riveting reds shampoo and it's worse! Ugh this makes me not want red hair anymore even though I love it 😥 Does anyone else have this problem with these shampoos??

I had that same issue when I had red hair. I stopped using the pre-made red shampoos and conditioners and started to mix my own and the problem went away! I would buy regular shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair and then mix Manic Panic hair color in Vampire red into both. Manic panic is a vegetable based dye so it is safe to mix and won't damage your hair at all. Depending on what shade of red your hair is you might need to pick a different color though. For reference, I had been coloring with L'Oreal Hicolor highlights in Magenta and Red (1 box of each) and the Vampire red was a great match for that shade.

Yeah I know you can mix semi permanent hair color in there, that was actually the same colors I used to use. I was just trying to avoid it because when I would use it, it bled everywhere lol but thank you Traci 😃

Yeah mine always bled out too every time it got wet, even with the coldest of cold water it still bled out and stained everything. I guess that's the biggest drawback with using semi permanent colors. Hope you find something that will work for you!

I dislike John Frieda, I got dandruff from his line of shampoos too and a terrible hair fall out. I would advice you to turn to Lush, honestly their products are amazing. I recently started using their Brazillian shampoo bar and Jasmine & Henna hair mask, and my hair is soft and shiny and smells like jasmines. Their skin care is great too. My suggestion is try Lush their products are more natural and less damaging
