Hey ladies, I have an interview at ulta tomorrow and I was wondering what should I wear? Does it have to be dress pants/slacks? Bc I don't own any and I don't like how they look on me.. Help lol.

Also would white pants be okay?

Do you have a picture of the white pants? it doesn't have to be dress pants, I don't love dress pants either but I have a pair of black skinny ones but they're not extremely tight it's more of the cigarette style and I've worn those to an interview. I would wear black or gray dress pants, a neutral colored top and heels or ballet flats with a necklace and definitely show off your makeup skills while still looking natural. If you don't want to wear pants at all you could definitely wear a skirt or dress. My last interview was in the winter for my spa job and I wore a pair of black leather 'leggings' and an express button down blouse they always have (love them) and matching heels. I normally wouldn't suggest leggings but the ones I wore have zippers, and no where near see through and aren't extremely tight

These are the pants I'm referring to for the cropped black dress pants, they're very comfortable and good for summer. I think I've bought some of mine from express and bebe. Also, a colored blazer polishes your look and makes you stand out instead of wearing all black. I've bought a ton from bebe and Charlotte russe and wear them quite often.

I'll post a picture in a bit when I get home, but they're the same length as the ones you posted just that they're tighter kinda.

You don't have to wear dress pants, a pencil skirt or a nice dress will do as well (not a party or sun dress). NO JEANS. Jeans are unprofessional.
Heels or flats. NO SNEAKERS OR WEDGES, they're not professional.
Hair curled/straightened (whichever you prefer) or in a sleek bun/ponytail.
Makeup should be simple and natural. Even though Ulta is a makeup store you still need to look polished and professional.

Why are wedges not an option? Just curious

Wedges aren't really considered professional so it's best not to wear them, they're usually considered very casual.

What about dressy sandals?

I agree with Alexis. And no to sandals, closed flats are better (like ballet flats)

Definitely no to sandals. Heels or flats, as I said originally.

I would wear all black so that it looks like you are already part of the staff and that you fit in with everyone else working there(: good look on your interview
