I got a sample of this from Sephora and gave it a trial run today. I have mature skin that goes shiny fast, particularly in the T-zone. I also have that celtic ruddiness, red nose and cheeks with rosacea and some broken caps. I have trouble getting nose coverage and typically have to powder down during the day.

For shade reference, they selected N35. I wear Hourglass veil in Ivory, Aucoin SSE in SX07. I mixed it with some Mercier foundation primer and found that a little pigment goes a long way. I put it on with a domed foundation brush and nothing else was added. No powder for this test drive.

I headed out to do some groceries in the 96 degree, muggy NC heat. Was out about an hour and came back with very little shine, even though I felt sweaty. I took a couple of pics with the intention of posting, but they came out with a lot of redness, but in the mirror it doesn't look like that.

This held up really well and I don't see shine. This could be a much more dense coverage, but I'm looking to go lighter, but long lasting. I'm going to try mixing with my Blue Lizard Face sunscreen and see how it does in the pool and sun.

I'm giving this a thumbs up. It's not $ at $44, but it will last a long time given the intensity of the pigment. I would suggest trying a sample first.

Laura D...I asked for a sample from the SA at Sephora. She matched me and then put the sample in a little jar for me to take home.

I love this stuff! I've been mixing it w/ my winter shade foundations that are a shade or two lighter than my current skin color & it works fabulously.
