Disappointed

I had high hopes for this but was disappointed. First the shade colors are misleading. I even went through the RMS online shade picker and the shade I got isn't right. I can make it work, but I find it darker than shown and more orange than yellow. The good news is that it didn't oxidize on me making it more orange. I found it quite thick and heavy feeling on my skin although the coverage was good. On it's own I didn't find that it did much for pores and skin texture. Upon setting with powder the finished look was better. Not what I'm looking for as a 65 YO woman. I've figured out how to sheer it out with a water based moisturizer which helps. Good skin prep is key or it showed dry spots and got patchy. Lasting power is okay, perhaps better if applied full strength.

Big Shout Out and Hooray to Beautylish and Wayne Goss....

I ordered this from the East Coast on Wednesday at 1PM using regular Free Shipping. It was on my doorstep at Noon the next day, today. Now that's service! Gorgeously and safely packed as always.

As a 60+ mature woman with crepey and hooded blue eyes, I was on the fence about this color palette. Love blue, but haven't used blue eye shadow in 30 years. I mostly stick to neutral browns, beige and coppers. Anyway, when it arrived the colors were so beautiful I couldn't resist a quick swipe of the greys and that gorgeous teal on the lid. I added His azalea blush w/highlighter and mascara. The textures are light and the teal jumps out at you. I did get fall out even pressing with my finger, but it's worth it.

Had a work zoom a couple hours later and the first two people that logged on commented on how beautiful my eyes looked. I was stunned! Not only is this palette a keeper but an immediate favorite. You get what you pay for in size and quality. Don't be dissuaded by the satin or celestial shade. They're all gorgeous, even better than the first palette.

Thank you Mr. Goss for your attention to all women and making such high quality and beautiful products.

Vivid Azalea is perfect...

as a blush and more. Try moisturizing your lips and then patting on the color with a bit of highlight on top. It's like a stain and for me MLB Brighter.
