I agree with Gisell. Your 16th parties seem extremely extravagant to what we have in the UK, I had a pizza night for my 16th!
Without seeing your dress, I think maybe a shimmery or glittery eye look, like gold or silver chunky glitter (I love the Urban Decay glitter shadows).

I got my makeup done for my Sweet 16. My dress was also white, from BCBG with some silver crystals. I had a glittery eye with falsies and a nude pink lipstick and lipgloss. I wore my hair down curled with a few strands pinned back along the crown of my head and I think that'd work for you with your crown. have fun!
