Mine doesn't do that :( do you wash it? If so be sure that as it is drying to turn it upside down (bristles downwards) so that the glue doesn't corrode the glue. this is known to cause shedding. If not you should wash your brushes because build up can rot the glue, bristles and the extra weight isn't good for them either.

I haven't washed it yet, I got it less then a month ago. I should probably try try to wash it though. Hopefully doing that won't loosen them... Thank you :)

Mine fell apart too! People rave about RT brushes, so I was so sad this happened :(

Brittany I'm confused how can build up rot the glue?
Cait iv never had a real technique brush but if ur brush is doing that there might be something wrong with it not on your end since you havent washed it, its ok for brushes to shed like jackie has said in other threads but when they shed this much where u can probably start making a wig for barbie (lol) its not normal in my opinion, if i were u i would take it back to ehere u got it from (with proof of purchase) and get a replacement

Ugh this sucks, it was amazing and did its job but then this happened, I'll definitely be taking it back. Any brushes that you guys recommend that are around the same price? Lili, the bristles that are fallen off in the photo are only half of what shed! Crazy. Like Michelle said, people rave for this brush. Glad to know its just me! Thanks guys for the feedback!

You should definitely take it back it seems like a faulty brush. I've had mine for well over a year and its in perfect condition, no shedding whatsoever considering I used it very regularly and washed it multiple times.

I think it may be a defective brush that we all got stuck with. I have a few RT eye brushes that never fell apart.
Drugstore wise, I like Sonia Kashuk brushes too. Good price and the get the job done. I have a few EcoTools brushes as well, but not for foundation. I wish I could help more, but I'm a sponge person when it comes to applying foundation.
