Hi ladies!
as you can see in the title, I am experiencing a really bad case of hair fall. In a day, I feel I am losing about 100 strands. it bothers me so much because I am only 25, and my hair is thinning. What can I do? Please help me out!

Losing about 100 strands a day is actually normal but if you're experiencing thinning or bald patches then you need to see a doctor.

Hi Alexis! So I have been told. But it just bothers me so much because my hair is thinning. Do you experience this as well?

I experience hair falling out but my hair is kinda thick so it doesn't really bother me/I don't have any need to see a doctor for it. As I said, though, if your hair is thinning because of it then see a doctor.

I definitely understand how you feel. one thing to pay attention to is if your hair is breaking off mid-shaft or is it breaking straight from the scalp. if it's coming from the scalp you will see a little ball on the top which is the hair follicle. if that's the case, you may want to get an opinion from a Dr.
if not, you should just try weekly hair masks and deep conditioning treatments.

If you're certain it's fall out and not breakage, check out Nioxin (or Nutri-Ox, they're the same)! After my doctor told me it was stress related (and not a thyroid issue or something else), a friend recommended Nioxin and within a week of use my fall out was drastically reduced.

I had hair falling out and my stylist said hair doesn't all grow at once--it goes through phases. Basically, she said you will have phases where it seems like a lot of hair (not like a ton, but 100 or so strands) is falling out and other times where you don't. I don't remember the terminology she used. She also said if you're running your hand through your hair and a few strands fall out it's normal---but if it's like falling out in chunks then it's health related.
