My friend has semi-uneven eyelids and I was wondering what could help her make them look just a little more symmetrical. Anybody have any ideas?

Same problem. Including my brows. I've just accepted it.

Mine are the same, the only thing I've noticed that makes a difference is definate lines, ie liquid eyeliner. Rather use pencil and smudge it, as it will not make it look as obvious. Like Ashlee said you just have to accept it.

I agree with the girls. Liquid or gel eyeliner are your best friends for that matter, but nothing like accepting it, is not such a great deal (few people notice it and actually no one cares) :)

Mine are the same way sometimes. She can try evening them out with some eyelid tape- I find that really helps. Or she could take a neutral brown color and place it on the same place above the crease on each eye. I've found that really helps along with layering on the mascara.

Sometimes I find that one of my eyes gets smaller or whatever than the other also, what I do is after every step of your makeup look at the eyes as a whole and see if they're even (makeup wise) make sure you look straight into the mirror, sometimes one eye might have a bit more shadow or have it a bit higher for example, but when you look straight it evens them out :) same with the liner, instead of making the lines equal, focus more on making the lines so they appear to make your eyes the same shape if that makes sense. For example for the smaller eye make a slightly thinner line than the bigger one, since the bigger one probably has more lid space :)

Either way, nothings going to be perfect so don't try to achieve perfection! Just do the best you can :)

I also find that false lashes help a lot because when you put them on& the glue's still slightly tacky you can sort of push one of them up a bit more/push them down a bit until they look even enough :)

Good point Lara R. Lol people just laugh at me when I try and point it out. Sometimes I try and thin the liner on one eye and thicken the other but then that just looks weird too. Focus on your skills like blending and straight lines, people will notice your flawless application over minimal imperfections.
