Hello! I recently posted about doing the no heat hair challenge. Next Monday will be the start of my third week and I am loving it so far! I am so proud of it - no matter how small an accomplishment. I just feel more confident even if my hair is at this medium length. I just have one question..I am air drying it but like when it is kind of flipped to one side to make it look a little longer but it tends to get flat on the other side because I am not using heat. Any tips on how to keep both sides curly/wavy without it falling flat and not using heat? Should I just keep flipping it back and forth while it dries aha? I tried using the cool setting on my blow dryer but it gives me this wet and cold hair look. I am doing the rake and shake method now.
Thanks!!

Have you tried using a hair powder such as Got2B to add volume once completely dry?

Never heard of it! I guess I'll have to look into it :) thanks for the suggestion!
Does it work if you have to put it in on slightly still drying hair because I don't know if mine ever fully dries :p

I will kind of flip mine upside down and tousle it or shake it just a little to keep the volume even :) or like Rozberrry said, you could try a volumizer!

You apply it to a dry scalp directly..then rub into the scalp with fingers.

I've curled using knots. It is very easy and because my hair is short it is the best method. Enjoy.

I never use a blow dryer, I also don't have curly hair, but I do get limp flat hair if I don't dry my hair like I usually do. I towel dry (pat it don't rub it) and hang out upside down while drying my hair. Once I get it not drippig any more I tousle it with my fingers. And then flip my head upside right. I don't part my hair until it is on the better half of almost dry. But before that every 10-15 minutes I'll flip my head upside down and tousle my roots for a few minutes then flip back up. It helps.
