This has been my most notorious hair issues! I do like pushed back side bangs with my natural part and no matter what I do for blow drying or hair spray they never stay put and always so piecy!! It's driving me nuts. What can I do to make them stay all day and look nice?

A fine tooth comb, flat iron, and Pomade or a killer spray like Kendra. I love Suavecito. It's water soluble. Mine nevah separate..and I have a cowlick..and a V, which stays on point.

How do you use it? Like spray the hair and then iron it back?

I dry my bangs flat using a narrow nozzle on my blow dryer and a tiny toothed comb. Then, I plug in the iron, but do NOT let it get hot. Literally 2 minutes after I plug it in, I use it...with the lowest setting on. Then, spray them with Kendra. To maintain..since I only wash once a week..I apply a little pomade on my dry bang..comb..then spray. They hold up even in windy Chicago. If they get mussed..I just pat them with my fingers and bam..back on point..no separation occurs for me. I always carry a mini barbers comb and mini spray when I know I'll be out for a big night. Hope that helps!

Hmm I think that works for yours cause they're blunt - I'm looking for more of the blowout tussled look with a curl. Like I'll get it perfect at the beginning but then during the day the hair spray doesn't hold and it falls apart. And goes all piecey.

Ahh..gotcha. I'd still try the Kendra because it is a flexible hold and is great in any weather. Pomade will work with a curl for certain, but that takes practice.

Try a split end mender. Also spray harshest in them then brush them

This problem plagued me for YEARS! I started noticing my bangs separate probably when I was like 13 and I'm turning 20 now lol.
The 2 things I've found that help me the most is using a hair spray daily and buying a teasing comb! I tease my bangs to hold them all together how I want, then just gently comb it out so to the part that people see looks smooth. When I tease it, they never separate!
I've had sideswept bangs and straight across bangs and I tease both. I don't know how to stop the piecey-ness otherwise!

Yeah I do the hairspray and teasing method which helps but it isn't a fit! I usually end up pinning them back by the end of the day cause they drive me crazy!!

Jenna, looking at your profile and side bang, pomade would fix your issue for certaib. I'd Google it. Good luck!
