How long are you letting primer sit for?

I keep forgetting my primer needs to sit before applying foundation lol. How long should I let it sit for? I'm using hourglass primer and Estée Lauder foundation.

I let my primer sit as I wash my hands and get my foundation ready (shaking it up and putting it on the back of my hand). That's usually enough time for me (:

I will normally put it on, go to the kitchen, wash my hands, make a cup of coffee and wet my beauty blender :) If I feel like it needs a little more time I will normally start doing my brows and then start doing my face makeup :)

I usually just put on my primer and start doing my eye makeup and then put foundation that way it has enoigh time to sit I'm also always in a hury when I do my makeup so it works out this way lol.

I usually apply my primer then start doing my hair or like Sabrina said I go make my latte & let my dog out then go back and start. I shower then start my skincare routine (cleanse, exfoliate, serums, moisturizer with spf.. ) then apply my primer before I even go in my vanity room so that way it's applied early enough in the morning I never think much about it I just do whatever else I need to do before I sit down and get ready

I wait anywhere from 3-5 minutes while I wash my hands and get my brushes and makeup ready to go. I don't suggest you apply any foundation or concealer until at least 3 minutes have passed.
