Your naturally beautiful you don't need makeup! If you really want to wear makeup I'd suggest just a little bit of blusher in a rose pink colour and a slick of mascara and maybe a tinted lip balm. You don't need anything else honestly xx

I think a new hair style would flatter you much more than makeup would. Do nothing to the length though; long hair is something cherish able.
Besides that , just some mascara and light colored lipstick.

Thanks esotericodium! do you have any suggestions? I am definitely not taking off length because I love long hair, but I was thinking about adding some medium/long layers and I still have no clue what to do with my bangs!

Hm. Probably layers ,but not straight across because that tends to not look nice in my opinion. Perhaps "V" layers then.
Bangs are a struggle for me..
If anything a really short layer on top starting from the center ,getting gradually longer towards the back.
Hopefully you'll see the image..?

Thank you everyone! and I love her hair in that picture! I don't know if the middle part looks good on me personally though.

Why does everyone on this app suggest "just mascara and lipgloss" to high schoolers and under? It's so damn annoying to me.
anyways, girl wear what YOU want and what YOU feel comfortable with.
if you want to go all glam with foundation, brows, winged liner, falsies and a lipstick then do YA thing boo!
makeup has no age limit, I'm 15, and I go glam everyday.
that includes foundation, concealer, Brows, eyeshadow, Winged liner, falsies, highlight & contour, and a lipstick.
people compliment me on my makeup all the time and I enjoy that.

@Les N. I think that people suggest that because honestly when you're younger you don't need so much makeup on your face. If your going to school you shouldn't be too focused on makeup especially when the girl, Katelyn, clearly doesn't need it, as she is a natural beauty. So lip gloss and mascara are just a natural, simple suggestion
.

The reason I didn't wear makeup in high school besides mascara, eyeshadow and lipgloss was because of sensitive skin.

So Katelyn if your skin isn't sensitive, you can wear a light foundation (to even out skin tone) such as bare minerals original foundation or UD naked skin foundation. They both feel extremely light and covers redness just fine. Your brows look fine to me, so I would leave it. I personally wouldn't waste time on doing so much eyeshadow but if you have time you can do a neutral eye look with mascara and eyeliner if you'd like. You can wear makeup and still look natural. I agree with the rosy pink blush! I love any benefit blushes

And as for your lips, try a pink nude lipstick. Try some of the nyx matte lip creams or nyx matte lipsticks they are so gorgeous and affordable!

Les, don't worry about what other people are saying. You can wear whatever makeup you please, you're lucky you have such good skin! I would've worn whatever makeup I wanted if it wasn't for my darn skin lol all I could do was eyes and lips boo! You wear makeup but you look natural, which was what I was suggesting katelyn.

Thank you livi (:
it's just the whole "age limit" makeup thing is quite annoying to me.
a full face is what I feel
comfortable in and that's what I like wearing so I'm going to wear it!
I'm all for being comfortable.
Just like my sister, she doesn't like wearing makeup and she's 19 I'm not going to force her to wear makeup nor should someone force me (or anyone else) to wear less

When I started out wearing makeup in middle school I usually wore mascara, face powder, and lip gloss :) I wouldnt put too much on your face because you still have really nice skin, so I don't think you need blush or anything but if you want it go for it! :)

Also just start out getting a couple simple things, then once you get to know what looks good, or what's easiest for you, you can look into more things :)

I'm going to be a sophomore!! If you want to wear makeup, I would recommend a BB cream (I like to use revlon photoready), maybelline dream bouncy cream blush, any kind of lipgloss, revlon lash potion mascara, and eyeliner. But I would definitely not go TOO heavy with the makeup but go ahead and have fun with it.

Please please please don't feel the need to wear makeup in high school. I'm in year 11 and I see the year 7s wearing so much makeup and by the time they're in year 8, their skin is broken out and they completely regret it. If anything I would suggest start off simple and then start experimenting and then once you know what you're doing and have a great skin care routine, start with your concealers and foundations because your skin is great and you don't want that getting ruined so you should also have a good skincare routine if you don't already. I agree with the others, makeup has no age limit or age restrictions or anything but my only tip is be sure with what you're doing and don't just start off quick with foundation... Go slow and steady at a comfortable pace so you can test everything out and find your right foundation and see how your skin reacts to these different products.
