Purple conditioner! Fabuloso has a phenomenal one that I beyond recommend. I used their red one and their purple one before and they work better than anything else I've ever used. Also, coconut oil or moisturizing masks to prevent having to cut off all your beautiful hair.

I love love love and swear by the wella toner, shade T18 is always my go to. It gives my blonde the perfect amount of ash tones to take out that yellow and brass everytime. I just mix it with 20 volume developer. You can get both at Sallys. I will say though, it tends to lighten the brown in my hair a tiny bit, so If you don't want to do that I would just use a 10 volume developer.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I would have it lightened one more time... And then use a good quality toner. I have used the purple shampoos and conditioners but I prefer immediate results. I feel like I have to use them for like two weeks straight to get the results I want, and it's gradual. Wella has never failed me though!

I am so nervous to try to tone my hair myself! I have thought about it for months.

It's easy, it's just like applying dye all over your head from roots to tips. I let mine sit for 30 minutes and then just jump in the shower and shampoo it out.
