What should I wear for work experience (I'm 16) to an engineers office - we'll be visiting construction sites too? Thanks!

Leggings and a tee shirt with sneakers? Something you don't mind getting dirty and can move in!

I would call the place and ask for advice on dress code :)

I agree with Hannah^^ they can be on strict on clothing being a construction site due safety and hazards more than likely heavy duty boots I would think. I would also go loose clothing not to tight or revealing I'm sure many men working.( but that's just me)but best bet you should call.

I really don't suggest wearing leggings! They could easily rip and aren't a very sturdy material, I'd go for jeans that you don't really mind getting dirty/worn out and for the top something comfortable that you can move in well and again isn't too much of a light material :)

Yeah I'm not really sure about leggings as I'm not sure if they'd want me to look more smart... I think I'm just going to be looking around as its a civil engineering place so their more interested in the design rather than the building but I'll ask them what to wear - thanks everyone!
