I've tried the mattifying skin equalizer from MUFE, and the Rimmel London Stay Matte, is there any other one that's good? I didn't like the two listed above.

I really like Hourglass Mineral Veil primer. Pricey but you can try a sample first.
Mary Kay foundation primer (it kind of feels like the Stay Matte, a little siliconey but it works well for me)
And for a more budget friendly option, I used to use Neutrogena Shine Control primer a lot
