I just rinsed my hair of the dye and want to condition it before it dries. My conditioner is not color friendly or sulfate free so I was planning to leave coconut oil on for 20 minutes and then rinsing it off with cold water. Will this affect my color?

I have used coconut oil on my hair after dying and it was quite alright but if you really wanna stay safe I would get a colour friendly conditioner

If you are talking about a hot oil treatment then no. As the heat opens the pores the color will fade quiet fast. I know this from experience💕

Oo XD well I just got my hair done on Saturday and I put a ton of coconut oil in my hair today then washed it out (I don't have color safe stuff) and my hair is still fine 0.0

Thanks! Better safe than sorry, I just didn't do it and bought some new color friendly products the next day.
