Alright ladies, I have been hearing a lot about women shaving their faces, and I was wondering if anyone does it? Also
What do you use?
What results did you have? Was it good or not?
And if it's a good idea?
Thanks!

NOOO. Please don't shave your face! I highly recommend using a hair removal cream instead. I use the Nair Face Cream and it works great for me!

I do shave my upper lip but only before I use my Philips Lumia.

Wow, that sounds like the worst idea.

Hair really does grow back thicker when you shave it, and it's SO MUCH EASIER to wax if you really need to, plus waxing one's face really does not take that long and lasts a really long time. Please do not do that.

I use the same hair removal cream as Lilibeth, it does work pretty well

Lots of women do remove hair from their faces (in fact, a good friend of mine does!). Although, it might just be a whole lot easier to use a hair removal cream or to wax the area, as you will receive a much smoother result.

Hair does not grow back thicker when shaved. You see a blunt edge verus a tapered natural edge so it can sometimes feel thick looking. If it grew back thicker, all people with thin hair would just have to shave their heads a few times and have luscious locks. It's just a myth.
If you want to, go for it. My grandmother shaves her face every 3 days. She has been for like 30 years. Lots of you tubers also have admitted to shaving their faces. If it works for you, then do it. Some women have dark apparent hair all over their face and waxing can be super treacherous to some skin.

Please don't shave. I use hair removal cream and it works just fine plus it lasts longer than if you were to shave. I used to wax but it was not good for my skin- it would get really irritated and sometimes I would have some breakouts.

I has used several methods of removing facial hair but the one I probably use the most is shaving, just out of convience. I think all methods are okay but some don't work in certain situations or people have skin sensitivities. I have used nair, and it turned my skin yellow where I applied it for a week.
Anyways, here's different things I use and why/when. Shaving, I will use this if I'm in a rush or I'm doing it the last minute. It's beneficial because it doesn't leave any redness or chemical smell, my makeup applies really smoothly after shaving too. For me, hair starts growing back after two days. I don't experience any ingrown hairs. And yes, it will feel stubbly when it grows back but that will happen with any method when it starts to grow back. I like to use the men's gillette razors, the more razors on the head the better. I like to use aveno shaving cream but make sure not to get it on the lips too much.
Hair removable cream is really tricky because sometimes a few uses work out okay but then one day get a bad skin reaction. So there is always that risk, so I don't like to use it for last minute events. I have had luck with one of the Sally Hansen creams but it's more expensive than shaving. I do find it lasts for about three days. I have used it before going on a date and when some kissing happened later that night, my then bf commented that I smelled funny/chemically around my lips. So that sucked.
Tweezers get used if I'm doing my makeup and see a few hairs, so that gets plucked. It takes too long to tweeze them before going out and leaves redness. So, I really only do it to a dark hair.
Waxing can be really bad for some skin. My mother's skin is thinner and very sensitive now and she has had a patch of skin go with the hairs...And it's expensive going and getting it done. Professional wax works better at removing it than store bought wax, at least that's my experince. My hair starts to grow back around three or four days of waxing, so I would be going twice a week. It leaves puffy skin and redness. The only time I wax is when I'm going on a vacation and don't want to be bothered to shave or I won't have enough time to do it on vacay. Or like a day or so before going to the beach because the hair removal cream will make my skin extra sensitive and shaving sometimes can sting with salt water. When the hair grows back, it is just as stubbly as it feels when I shave.
Bleaching works but it stings some and makes my skin red after. In the sunlight, the hair can still be seen and I find if someone has, more dense, facial hair it doesn't make it any better now it's just a blonde mustache.
I don't know why shaving the face creates so much fear lol Shaving it won't magically make you grow a man's beard. The individual hairs aren't any thicker than they were before. My facial hair isn't any darker than they were before, the places where it's blonde grows back blonde and the places where they are dark grow back dark.
