I'm thinking of going back to my doc to switch to another one that helps more.

I wouldn't even recommend one. I know that's not the answer you want. But with any medication it's what works best for your body. It's best to try a couple. I know the bc I am on is called Vestura. And what I hate about it is that it makes me gain weight. But it, helped my skin. However, again it's to each their own.

I was on Yaz and it made me into such a mean person lol. I was also on Aleese and I was so depressed on it. Yaz is an extremely strong birth control while Alesse is a very weak one. Maybe try something in the middle, I was on Marvelon and it was really good. Also look into 3 month continuous birth control pills such as Seasonique. The one month cycles ones didn't do much for me but the 3 month continuous was a good match.

I'm on carrel and it's made my spots a lot worse and made me gain weight I hate it but I'm not allowed to change it and it has such bad bad reviews by like 90% negative so I wouldn't recommend it! But you never know it could work for you

Tricira-lo is an increase dose pill, first week is low, second increased a bit, third is strong. If you have strong periods as a norm I don't recommend blocking periods for any long period of time. As we all know what periods do, if you skip the lining will just get thicker causing a heavier period later on with more cramping. If you have light easy periods then it shouldn't be any issue.
