I've had this makeup brush for a while now and I clean this a lot but I notice that when I wash it (like a beauty blender), a lot of product doesn't come off. Any tips on how I can properly clean this?

When I wash my beauty blender all the product comes off.

I got it at Douglas, the woman who helped me told me that it looked more natural than a brush so I started using it and I love it!

It's for foundation and other liquids for my face.

It's spongy and I just wash it with water and makeup brush cleaner but I'm afraid that if I completely wet it, the glue will come off so I'm careful when cleaning it.

If you are careful like you said, you might be being too careful to be able to get the product off. So maybe try washing it harder or longer?

What an interesting looking sponge! I've never seen anything like that before.

I've never seen a sponge like that... What are you using to clean it?

@CPT- Lili I hadn't seen one either before buying it and I haven't seen one since buying it so I guess it's unique. When I wash it I start with lukewarm water and squeeze it, a lot of product comes out but you can still see some on the brush. Then I apply lots of makeup brush cleaner to it and I roll it around in my hands, careful not to get too much water on the glue. Then I squeeze it again, until the makeup brush cleaner is out of the sponge and then I squeeze it again and let it dry.

Try using the beauty blender bar soap I think that would do the trick 😊
