when I had my red hair and got it done at a salon, just to make sure nothing would go wrong if I did it myself

Your hair is very light I think is going to be easy dyeing it red. I haven't use any drugstore brands but I have heard a lot of people like garnier. professional wise I recommend Goldwell, Ion permanent, and Ion color brights semi permanent.

Ion is a good brand buy it at sallys however I wouldn't get a bright red. its going to be pretty bright as it is with putting a dark red on it since your a blonde
