Hello lovlies!!
So I have naturally curly/wavy hair, and that is how I wear my hair everyday when its down. But I would like to change up my look and straighten my hair but my hair will.never stay straight after I straighten it! It always ends up wavy again! Any suggestions or products wuld be great! Thank you in advance!

I have the same problem. to keep my hair straight, I have to use dry shampoo to give my hair texture, buy a good straightener, and then after straightening a piece, spray very light amount of hairspray. my MEGA hairspray doesn't give me the "crunchy" feeling even when I use a lot!! it's the only way, but it's worth it if you only straighten your hair occassionally.

Try the Trevor Sorbie smoothing balm. Use it before straightening or before drying your hair also another tip is to point the hair dryer at a downwards angle for your hair to dry straighter. :)

I have your problem as I have frizzy curly hair, I would suggest using tresseme treatment 7 day smooth. It doesn't last '7 days' but it's a good product! You apply it to damp hair and seriously, it makes my hair soft and it helps straightening hair less of a tedious task! However you're hair isnt going to be poker straight but it definitely made a difference! I currently don't use it at the moment because I had a keratin treatment done

I forgot to add that it helps keep your hair straight aswell, so its basically kind of a washable keratin treatment if thats what you can call it.

Use a hairdryer to dry your hair with the concentrator attachment. Make it as sleek and straight and you can, it might help to section it. And then straighten it :) use the straightening products whilst your hair is wet and then once your hair is dry blast it with cold air for 30 seconds. This is the story of my life xx

I say dry it straight first, and then go over it with a high quality flat iron and use the products the other girls mentioned:)

Have you tried straightening it using a barrel brush and hair dryer?

My daughter read this karminhairtools.com/advice/how-to-straighten-curly-hair and now she knows how to tame her curly hair if she wants a smooth straight style. Have a look, it might help you as well.
