Hannah the dress code is usually semi formal. Not as formal as prom where everyone wears gowns and long dresses. The girls usually wear shorter dresses and guys wear either a suit (I haven't seen tuxes at hoco yet) or dress pants with a dress shirt and either a tie or bow tie.
