@Cocoa...you commented about some lil girl who came from Africa to America and the baby died due to high lead levels. Africa doesn't have the strict regulation like we do here in the States. Its very obvious that the child consumed the lead in Africa only to arrive here and pass away. And as Jackie made mention...you can't always believe every single thing that you read on the internet. There are so many organizations who maintain ulterior motives and "create" unsubstantiated information to create chaos.
My spouse worked the formulation side before going into medicine and I had him read this thread and some of the stuff that was posted angered him. He said legit cosmetic/skincare lines isn't the issue. He made mention of all the counterfeit cosmetics and fragrances that are being sold on Ebay and Amazon. Those are the one's loaded down with lead, arsenic and even urine (human and animal found in fake fragrances), beryllium and cadmium. Women being women we want the newest and greatest but will risk our health to have a name brand product all in the name of saving a buck. If you dug a little deeper you would've learned that recently there is legislation that was introduced last month requiring that the FDA evaluate and report the ingredients being used in cosmetics and personal care products. The Bill is also requesting that the FDA investigate several ingredients each year and with that decide whether or not they should be continued to be used and if so at what concentration levels.

Cocoa you need to pay attention to things before you speak, she consumed it here yes but if you would have put attention you would have seen that it wasnt the government's fault the goverment had made a law that required that all the paint from a certain year and before had to be removed but the manager of the apartments being a lazy as and not wanting to put out money didnt do it and thats where the little girl started eating the paint, I watched the what you are talking about and unlike you I paid attention, you really need to pay attention and thats why you make no sense again, have a good one.
