I started using a philosophy gentle exfoliating cleanser and it said daily use but I can't remember which on it is called but it said immediately resurface skin or something and both times I used it I got a few tiny little acne bumps and one under the skin acne bump and I'm not sure if I'm breaking out from it or if it is just working lol.

What I usually do is use the product a couple of days and if I break out, I'll stop using it for a couple of days to see if it was the reason.

It could also be what's considered "the purging" period.

I don't use it every day because of how my skin has been and I don't know if ut is from the waah but it could be a purging period I've never experienced a purge with any face wash though.

You shouldn't use an exfoliator every day because it can irritate the top layer of your skin. but just try it for a little on one side of the face

Well since it is a exfoliating wash, I believe your skin will react different than it would with a regular face wash. Hence an exfoliating wash is going under your first layer of skin, therefore lifting impurities :3.

I have this product as well and I don't use it everyday even though I could get away with doing so since my skins ability to turn over deal skin cells naturally has slowed down considerably (once you hit 30 and beyond gentle daily exfoliating becomes your best friend). The standard exfoliating washes only affect the top layer of skin...they do not go any deeper than that. Topical peels which have exfoliating properties are the one's that go a little deeper than the top layer ( depending on the active ingreeindt percentage).
From the sounds of it you just sounds like a lil minor skin irritation. When I first purchased it I used it every single day for two weeks...bad decision. I broke out in these tiny little whiteheads and it did dry out my skin just a tad. My skin can tolerate topical exfoliators (in serum form) all day everyday but when it comes to anything with any type of granular or brush (referencing the popular facial cleansing brushes) my skin can't handle. Maybe you are in the same boat.
