Foundation For Oily Skin

So I have oily skin plus I have some dark spots on my cheeks which are really hard to hide! The foundation that I use doesn't do a good job plus it's heavy and leaves my skin looking awful! What type of foundation should I used that feels light but gives great coverage? Plus liquid or powder?
