Thoughts??
I don't want to purchase products from companies that test on animals anymore.

LUSH does no animal testing at all and won't even buy any of the ingredients that they use from any company that does do animal testing or is owned by someone who does!

Thanks Alexis. I'm looking at the list on the PETA site now

I do not purchase from any companies who conduct animal tests. Its a good feeling, actually. To know that your money's not going toward animal testing. And for skincare products, Yes To™ makes good stuff!

Here's another website with a list http://www.mybeautybunny.com/cruelty-free-beauty/
I was kinda horrified to find out that a bunch of companies started testing on animals to do business in China

Thanks everyone!! I'm a little overwhelmed to learn I have to switch companies on a lot of personal care items I buy. But I'm going to do it!!
Cassandra- what is the difference between cruelty free and vegan ??

For some reason on mybeautybunny.com some of the brands arent on the PETA website and the companies listed dont say anything about being cruelty-free on their site...

I already really like NYX, Physicians Formula, WNW, Elf, Hard Candy. I think finding a great cruelty free foundation will be tough??

And I LOVE UD shadows, but since Loreal bought UD- I don't know if they will remain cruelty free

Ugh, so mad about the L'Oreal UD thing!!! Why does L'Oreal have to test on animals and own everything!? >.<

The brands that I shop from are Too Faced, Tarte, Lush, Korres, Boscia, Dermologica, NYX, Physician's Formula, Milani, Yes To, Eco Tools, Real Techniques, Sedona Lace and several indie companies. I made the hard core decision this summer when I found out more about it all. I feel guilty for even wanting to try something from a company that tests. I was so mad about the Urban Decay thing, as well as Mary Kay and Avon. Mary Kay is all my family buys from and they won't switch.

Urban Decay will be a gray area company. As a sub company they will not test, but since L'Oreal owns them and tests, it's a catch 22. Just like with The Body Shop and Nars with Sheseido.
