It depends on the size of the dry cleaners near you. I
If you're in a city you may luck out, the dry cleaners I work at can't do boots, purses.. etc. Diesel is definitely a dry soluble not wet soluble, so soap and water isn't going tp get it out. Try taking them to your local dry cleaners. You might have luck!

Where I live, almost every cleaner has a service for suede boots. Just ask around

Oh michelle they are! They are also really really expensive and I've had them for three winters now so I'm devestated that they are stained. My husband works for coop petrol and they have an account with the local dry cleaners for their coveralls so ill call and see if we can get the company discount and if they could get them cleaned. I'm just soo heartbroken by this haha

I'm sad for you! My brother once spilled bleach on one of my favorite sweaters. There was no way of fixing it, though :(

I sadly had that happen to a pair of my uggs (except it was my dad throwing his work coat that had diesel on it on top of them.) I took them to a cleaners and while they did come out looking decent they decently still looked stained and the color didnt go back to normal. I had to end up buying a new pair and just using that pair as house boots. But ask around and talk to different cleaners.

Shawna we live in a really small town we only have one cleaners here unless I drive 2-3 hours away :( how long had the diesel sat on your boots before you brought them in?

As long as you haven't put anything on the spots, the week won't change anything (compared to the next day thing). It's only things left for a couple months that there's trouble with.
