Next Tuesday with my class we are going to a photoshoot for our yearbook. I don't usually put on makeup only eyeliner and mascara. I don't know what should I do with my makeup. I either buy some stuff and try to do it on my own or get it done at a salon. I have trust issues with people at salons I always look like I painted my face orange. eventough I brought my own makeup they didn't use them and they weren't even bad places. What should I do? I am 17 years old. I have acne prone oily skin.

Honestly, if it's just for a school yearbook, I wouldn't get it done professionally. Only because, in my high school experience, nobody really cares, and professionals can be SUPER pricey. Just do it yourself, you'll look amazing (:

I wouldn't get it done professionally since it's for a yearbook
Also just do something simple :)
This is what I did for a professional photo shoot (didn't get a makeup art)
Makeup used
Foundation
Powder
Blush
Natural/pink lip color
Did my brows
Eyeshadow
And mascara
(If you did want to you could use eyeliner and do what ever you like for eyeshadow)
I will say if your skin doesn't have any imperfections on it then don't use the foundations and stuff like that.
So just do your own makeup (: you'll look amazing
