Ginger to brown hair!! Help.

I've got orange/brassy ginger hair and I want to go a light/medium brown.
Could I just use a light/medium brown colour?
Will it work or not?
Help me girlys!! X

You can, but it wil turn a warm brown. if you want a cooler shade of brown I suggest you take an ash brown color or you could try to tone it after dying it. if your hair is lighter than the colour brown you want it isn't a problem to get to that color

If you find a medium ash brown I'm pretty sure the green would cancel out the red :)
