You can but a concealer on top of foundation would be more effective at covering.

Yes. It also depends on the finish of that foundation. a light coverage foundation may not be able to cover the redness as well as a medium to high coverage foundation can.

Benefits erase paste on any blemishes before foundation does the job for me! I would definitely recommend that!

Of course you can! :) I personally use Covergirl Trublend Fixstick Concealer and Maybelline Fit Me Concealer :) The picture is an example of covering acne up.

Whenever I get a pimple, I apply concealer and set it w/ a light powder. just to cover it.

If you get a high coverage foundation and then use a really good concealer over the acne it can really cover it so its virtually invisible.
