Blow Drying Hair

I have quite a lot of hair and it's really long. It used to get damaged whenever I'd use any heat, so I stopped doing that. It looks pretty good now and I just had a question about blow drying your hair: I don't want to use heat but I have a blow dryer that blow dries cold too, is the cold way also bad for your hair?
