I want to try a braided updo for a lace dress, but my hair is not quite to my shoulders and I have bangs. Do you guys have any pictures or suggestions on what I could try?

Reverse french braid? Start at the base of your neck and french braid up to your crown then finish in a bun :) would be cute with your bangs :)

Ooh that sounds super cute! Is it hard to reverse french braid? I have not had much success with normal french braids lol and I am not sure if my hair is long enough for a bun, I can barely pull it back... But thank you so much Raylene! I am still going to give it a try!

It's actually not hard at all, it's just instead on braiding down your head your braiding up your head lol just tip your head over and brush all your hair down over your head :) I'll try and find a pictorial. I used to do it when my hair was shoulder length and it worked out well :)

The top photo used the sock bun method the bottom is just a messy loop over pony tail.

If it works your should show it :) if it doesn't, french braid along your fringe line and then pull it and pin it under your hair behind your ear like a head band :) but I'm sure this will work out :) plus it's super cute!

Try a waterfall braid that joins at the back...
