No heat beach waves!?

How can I get super cute beach waves without using heat? Is there anything other than braiding that I can do??

I have not tried this but damp your hair and then spray salted water on your hair then leave it to dry on its own

Same as what the ladies above have mentioned. Whenever I want some good ol' beach waves, I braid my hair after towel-drying it, spray some sea salt spray directly onto the braid, sleep in it overnight, spray the braid again lightly, undo it, and voila! If you have a non-drying sea salt spray, I'd even spray throughout the hair once more just for good measure lol. Tussle it around with your fingers until you achieve your desired waves, and you're good to go.

I highly recommend Paul Mitchell's Awapuhi Wild Ginger Sea Spray. It holds the waves nicely, smells amazing, and is actually pretty moisturizing. No crunchy hair with this one. :)
