How do you make a perfect wing eyeliner?

You can use tape to make a stencil and then fill in if you're a beginner!

With winged liner you basically just have to keep practicing and you will eventually become a pro.
It's pretty easy make sure your hand is well rested on something and that your arm is comfortable.
When I was learning how to do wings I would look at pictures and that helped me.
felt tip or gel liner will be easiest

I use gel liner and an angled brush. I say practice a lot and watch tutorials. I think everyone does it a little different so I find that seeing other peoples way of doing it helps me.

You could use tape or a business card for a straight edge but it's not practical for every day use. Winged liner is all about practice and figuring out what works for you. Some people like felt tip liners because they feel like you're just using a marker , I personally like gel or liquid tho

I just got a new felt tip liner from birchbox that takes like half the time than my normal liquid liner does! It's called eyeko skinny liquid eyeliner in black. Of course practice is more important but this eyeliner is easy peasy!

Sadly, the tape and card never worked for me :( I had to practice practice practice. But I'd definitely recommend a felt tip eyeliner while you get the hang of it (:

Isn't it crazy, I have never had to learn how to do a winged eyeliner, I have always been able to just 'do it!' I do agree that everyone does it differently so you're just going to have to practise until you're comfortable. If it helps, I do my flick/wing first then from the middle of my eye I connect it to the wing and from there I try and even it out and bring it in to the tear-duct.

Along with all the great suggestions above, the right product makes a huge difference. Try Kat von d tattoo liner or Loreal infalliable.
