I belive that Forever21 has a section for work clothing. Is cheap and can find variety :) the essentials are:
-trousers in neutral/dark colors (navy blue, black, dark gray, khaki). Eventually buy in different colors :)
-skirts in the same colors. Avoid too short (just above the knee is a good length) or too tight.
-blouses in every color but neon are ok.
-cardigans as well in any color but neon.
-blazers automatically adds formality which is good is you hVe a meeting. A good structured black blazer is perfect
-Accesories can turn a boring outfit into a fun one! :) Forever21 has some at very good price and tons of variety.

TARGET CLEARANCE. I've gotten all my business casual, work type clothes there. I got these nice khakis for eight bucks, these lovely charcoal trousers for ten, a blazer , ect ect for super cheap. I live in the target clearance racks. They've always got good stuff!
